Errant password prompt when attempting remote...(due to configuration).

Cause:

Using remote administration on a computer running the 'File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks' option, and a computer not configured for remote administration, generates a password prompt instead of a descriptive error message. Windows 95 cannot determine whether the user has remote administration rights on the computer, or the computer cannot be remotely configured.

Solution:

Select 'Cancel' in the password prompt dialog box. Administrative rights are required to solve the problem. Please contact your system administrator or next-level support.
